Messy and unfocused
The hosts’ efforts at showing how this tragedy affected the community is commendable; their hard work is evident. But the story is bogged down by the introduction of too many people - siblings, grandparents, aunts, friends, officers, firemen, ministers, teachers, and more. This results in overly long episodes without a central, compelling guide. I suspect the writers recognize this, and they added additional commentary to help. But doing so just has the effect of highlighting their lack of storytelling skills. Production is decent although the music often doesn’t gel with the mood.

Informative look at the horrific murders of Libby and Abby, and the investigation that followed. I especially like the effort that was made to let the listener know what the girls were like before their deaths.

Good story, in need of tighter edit.

I don’t know how I’ve never heard of this story before, but I can’t believe it. How does a crime like this, with evidence like this, in such a small town go unsolved for 3 years? I’m hooked and can’t wait to hear more. I hope this helps get police a tip to solve it.
