Overproduced
The intro to episode 1 struck me as strange and insensitive. The one male spokesperson saying “what makes this case different is just the visuals” and repeating it three times. (What the heck does that mean? How is that an opening that’s sensitive to the victims? They’d love to know that the importance of their case is the “visuals.”) Reminds me of the nightly news covering a story instead of a podcast. This story is gut wrenching, and I hope people will listen to spread awareness—but the hosts are off-putting.
