Incredible information
I am so thankful to have found Trisha and Cynthia via Instagram and then their podcast. Both helped tremendously through my first pregnancy and helped prepare me for an unmedicated physiological birth. I went into labor at 40+2, light contractions started around 6am, my water broke around noon. Contractions really started to ramp up around 3pm and I was in and out of the tub breathing through and listening to my body. Around 7:45pm the contractions we’re about 3 minutes apart lasting a minute or longer so we headed to the birth center. We got there around 9pm, the midwife left me alone with my partner, doula and husband to let me labor in peace I was about 4cm dilated at that time. Around 11:20p I started to feel like I needed to push. We had the midwife come in and sure enough baby was ready, started pushing at 11:28pm healthy baby boy was born at 11:56p. It was a fast, intense, beautiful labor and delivery. I owe it all to Down to Birth for educating me in many areas of pregnancy, labor and delivery. How to advocate for myself, do the research in how I wanted my birth experience to be to avoid trauma. This will be my only baby and I did not want to walk away having a traumatic experience. Thank you ladies for helping me prepare to bring my boy earth side, I will continuously recommend this podcast.

Initially, being a single male, I didn’t think I was going to get much out of the podcast. I decided to listen because she’s a good friend of mine and at the very least I could...Read full review »

I love this podcast! It is so informative and gives so many resources for pregnancy snd birth as well as new perspectives that women are not always made aware of from their care providers. It is clear that Cynthia and Trisha are passionate about their work in the birth world! I highly recommend!!
