Fantastic resource for pregnant women!
This podcast is one of the richest resources for all things pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and lactation. During my recent pregnancy I found it to be tremendously helpful and informative. I started by listening to all the Q&A episodes, because as a first time mom, I didn’t know what I didn’t know, and I didn’t know which things to look into. I then went on to listen to episodes with various experts. I found this really helpful as I was then able to branch out and read books and articles written by those experts. The episodes with Lily Nichols are some of my favourites! By listening to all of the episodes of this podcast, I learned many things that helped me ask the important questions when it came to my prenatal care, helped shape my relationship with my doula and midwife, and helped me to experience the exact, peaceful, fulfilling home birth that I wanted. Thank you, Cynthia and Trisha for all your efforts to provide such a wonderful, free resource for all of us looking to birth beyond the status quo, in our power, as women 🤍 Your work is part of the reason my baby girl had such a peaceful and calm entry into the world. If you are pregnant or looking to become pregnant, postpartum, or just interested in the topic, Down to Birth is THE podcast to listen to!

I love tuning in to these ladies! They are a wealth of information and they have validated so much of what my intuition has told me through my pregnancy. I love the evidence and data as much as their conversations and opinions. It’s honestly like being with smart, funny friends, and I love that.
