I will venture a guess that most of your listeners and social media followers are young expectant mothers or new mothers. Well, I am a 72 year old now-single mother and grandmother who savors each podcast and each post. All three of my children (now 38, 35 and 31) were born at home with midwives in three different states. Each was nursed for over three years. I devoured every issue of the then-in-print Mothering Magazine and became a LaLeche League leader. My son and daughter-in-law live on our land with my now 3 year old grandson whose birth I was privileged to attend and who is a daily joy in my life. What you offer in your podcasts is a gift to the world of pre-natalcare, birthing and postpartum. My daughter and son-in-law are hoping to start a family soon and she is now a listener too. I feel a strong connection to you both like none I have experienced since way back when. The miracle of birth needs more strong sweet savvy advocates like you two.
