Could be so good
I listened to the narcissistic sibling rivalry episode. It was so interesting and the explanation was good, but you didn’t flesh it out enough and the male compere talked over you so I couldn’t hear what you were saying. It was like you were in a rush to finish and speak to as many people as possible, rather than speaking to one person and going deeper into the discussion. The topic is valid and important, it should not be rushed or minimised, which is how it felt listening to it. Also, it’s ok to edit out callers who you are trying to not talk to so the listener does not have to hear the awkwardness of you wanting to jump to the next caller, when it sounds like they feel they haven’t had their question answered. A good point of reference may be Dr John Delaney, who just has three callers per show but goes into great depth with each of them. The conversation is then edited back to a pithy ten - fifteen minutes. I learn so much from these shows. Better to just talk to a few people and go deep with them rather lots of very shallow unsatisfying conversations with many. Thank you, I love your show. I think it could be even better though.

The first ten minutes of this podcast is an awkward exchange of self-promotion between the two narrators. The remainder is an excellent example of what one can expect when pairing two narrators who don't connect. How can they, when each is preoccupied with controlling the dialogue?Read full review »

this podcast has some really good gold nuggets but is not organized and there's a lot of tangential talking in circles. I would say for every 50 minutes of airtime there's about 20 minutes of useful stuff in about 30 minutes of self-promotion and tangents. My recommendation is to go...Read full review »

The Satanic Panic did so much damage to so many innocent people. I can’t take this psychologist seriously!
