“I am Adrianne Lawal from Buffalo, NY. My husband and I have had two previous home births and am now pregnant with DiDi twins (babies 3&4) and we have zero options in my area for home birth or even a hospital birth without intervention. All hospitals demand an epidural and you must deliver in the OR. This is terrifying for me and my husband as we have never had a baby in the hospital. It was reassuring to hear birth professionals talk so honestly about the evidence as it pertains to twin birth. All of the OBGYN professionals that I have consulted in my area are offended if you ask for research and annoyed if you ask for any explanations and ultimately resort to scare tactics. There are a few wonderful midwives in my area but they are not allowed to attend twin home births. We also have an amazing birth center but it also can not take twin births. Thanks again!!”
