Do some actual research
Some of the conversation is interesting, however I find the lack of actual research on topics is just not professional. For example: the reason why NIPT doesn’t replace a nuchal translucency is because they’re different tests with different findings. An NT measurement of >3.5mm at 11-13+6 weeks is associated with heart defects, not just chromosomal anomalies. As well, the quad screen analytes offer other information (for better or worse, none of these things are very specific). I don’t love all these “screenings” but we should be able to explain them to clients plainly.
