“Wow ladies am I excited for this podcast. I started this show when I was 15 and I’m 25. It’s been a big part of my life the past 10 years. I was a lonely, miserable, traumatized girl when I came across this show. A side of me being so beyond the age of 15 where I practically raised myself. Peyton Sawyer represented so much of what I was feeling in a way no character ever had. I went through so much as a kid and so did Peyton but she got through it and had her happy life. She made me believe I was a survivor. Haley James Scott represented a part of me as well. Being shy at first and feeling like I don’t fit in or belong. It really was encouraging watching her grow into a confident woman. Also her struggle with depression was very real and raw. It made me feel less alone. Brooke Davis made me believe that being single and independent can be fulfilling and to believe in myself. She inspired me to accept my friends for who they are and to be my honest self.
All of this is because of Hilarie, Joy and Sophia. You guys brought these characters to life and I everyday I’m thankful because the characters saved my life. Thank you for the passion and sacrifices you took. I can’t wait to listen to every episode ♥️”
