Description
Lux Radio Theatre | Another Language (Bette Davis, Fred MacMurray) | Broadcast: May 17, 1937 A turbulent family drama about an overbearing mother and a son trying to find himself. Sarah Delano Roosevelt (mother of the president) is interviewed after the story. The play opens in a tiny studio apartment in downtown New York owned by Stella and Vicky Hallam. Stella has just returned from the office and Vicky is somewhat annoyed because she should have remembered they were supposed to be going to his Mother’s apartment for dinner. The truth is, Stella and her Mother in law don’t hit off too well and yet she’s quite fond of her Father in law. : : : : : My other podcast channels include: MYSTERY x SUSPENSE -- SCI FI x HORROR -- COMEDY x FUNNY HA HA -- VARIETY X ARMED FORCES -- THE COMPLETE ORSON WELLES Subscribing is free and you'll receive new post notifications.
