Christopher's journey began in the United States, but his early childhood in Haiti gave him a unique perspective on caring for individuals from diverse backgrounds. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Long Island University and completed his Masters's in Business Administration at Walden University. Although he initially started his professional career as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in Brooklyn, NY, Chris's problem-solving skills were well-suited for patient care. Even at a young age, he fearlessly took on challenges, exemplified by his leadership of a trauma response team just six days after the devastating 2010 earthquake in Haiti when he was only 21. Over the years, Chris transitioned into becoming a Registered Nurse in a bustling Emergency Department in Brooklyn, NY. Driven by his passion for caring for others and his natural inclination to lead, he took on various Nursing Leadership roles throughout his career. He was a Clinical Nurse Manager at NY Presbyterian Hospital in Brooklyn and Valley Health System in New Jersey. From there, he moved into the role of Administrator on Duty, overseeing the day-to-day operations of a 300+ bed level 1 Trauma center in Northern New Jersey during off hours. With 15 years of healthcare experience, Chris continues to lead by example, inspiring those around him to prioritize patient care and support for one another. Chris remains committed to his mission as the Co-Founder and President of Health Sitter Solutions. He tirelessly guides his team in developing solutions that provide the highest quality support for the patients they serve and the caregivers who tend to them. His dedication to creating a positive culture and his passion for disruptive solutions in the healthcare industry stem from his diverse experiences and expertise.
