New favourite!
I love the content of this show. I like how sometimes there are interviews with people in that field and sometimes it’s just the research that Cassidy and April have done on their own. Mixing it up a bit keeps it from being repetitive. I read a comment where someone said it was repetitive? But no. I strongly disagree. I like that they talk about history as well as how it relates in a modern world. I also saw a comment where someone said their jokes are staged and unnatural. I like that they clearly have written notes so there isn’t a lot of “um” and “uh”, where I hear that a lot with people who do podcasts without notes. And the jokes and puns they make are my kind of humour anyway... it’s like dad jokes. I love it! This isn’t listed as a comedy podcast so I don’t know why the humour that is included is even disappointing. Even standup comedians give themselves scripts soooo.... It’s relaxed and easy to listen to and so relatable to daily life in a lot of ways. I’m a sewer and super into history and this just ticks all the marks for me. So if you are new and thinking about giving it a shot, ignore the people saying it’s boring or scripted or repetitive. Go into it expecting something new and different and I think you’ll be very pleased. Both of these ladies have done extensive research and reach out to other people for information that are out of my reach, so it’s just really cool to have free access to something so cool. Keep up the good work, ladies! This is my new favourite podcast.

The women who do this are listenable (One of my peeves about podcasts is when they forget that they need to have good sound) Not too much vocal fry, well researched. So LOVED the interview with Highland (sp? Hyland?) Booker. That was a...Read full review »

Format is kinda boring & repetitive. Focus is narrow, and never anything surprising/unexpected.

Please...this phrase is so trite and affected. Otherwise, decent show. Thanks
