This is a very overdramatized podcast.
I believe in climate change. But, as an avid listener of podcasts, I can safely say that although the content is of this podcast good, the productions is not. It is produced with over the top horror music which, I understand the point of—to impress upon how dangerous the people who are doing this are, and how insidious a problem all of this really is. This dramatic backdrop is ultimately distracting and even corny at times, which detracts from the overall seriousness of the issue at worst, and makes the podcast feel like a judgmental lecture at best. I do enjoy it and I hope that it finds a way to strike a less harried and hopeless tone. I understand climate change is real and scary; but my brain shuts down when it all looks hopeless.

This podcast is astonishingly clear on climate science, the conspiracy to confuse people, and the culpability of “false balance” journalism. Listen and pass it on. Teach it in your classrooms.

Tells the history of how climate change went from being a scientifically agreed phenomenon to a political issue. Really interesting to hear about Exxon’s early research and understanding of global warming and the industry/utility movement to cast doubts on climate science.
