I wanted to like this, but the underreporting turned me off
Really interesting focus, but the podcast feels like it loses validity in its presentation. The host claims in ep1 that they put the missing puzzle pieces of climate change denial together in this show. But the use of too-long/rambling interview clips and the repetition of facts throughout gives the appearance of a team trying to cover up that they didn’t collect enough audio/information. This feeling is compounded when binge listening by the fact that short episodes start and end with recaps/previews of surrounding episodes. It’s a shame because this is actually a topic that is dense with potential sources, and the structure of this podcast is very intuitive and easy to follow.

I am so impressed at the work that has gone in to producing this podcast. The information and facts regarding climate change are outstanding. Well done.

I learned so much about the history of the oil industry and climate change from this podcast. So interesting and absolutely frustrating, but I think society is waking up. I just hope it’s in time!

Binge-listened to all of season 1. Don’t do this if you have blood pressure issues or are a big fan of Exxon. I consider myself to be moderately well versed on climate change, but S1 was a real eye opener. Waiting for S2!
