BBR
What more needs saying. Time equals experience and as the oldest Wine Merchant in the UK what more do you need to know other than ask BBR I’ve just listened to the Wines of Spain episode and Mark Pardoe’s comment on aged Rioja wing mistaken for a good Burgundy reminds me of our Wine Group started back in the 80’s which in an Alternative form still runs in today. In our case I counter Mark’s comments with the mantra repeated over many Wine Club blind tastings when upon the host declaring the wines with many on the group mistook an aged Rioja for a Burgundy would state “ When is a Burgundy not a Burgundy? When it’s a Rioja …. That statement was made time after time ! One would Have thought we’d have learnt over the years but, it goes to show that with wine, like I’m life, you never stop learning and therefore we need to continue practicing !!!!

I loved the BBR podcast on Bordeaux today. Not too long, not too short, informative, accessible and chatty too. Can’t wait for next instalment.

This is what we have been missing so far; a professional and unbiased podcast on wine. Learned a lot from the first podcast and will look forward for more. Introducing Chateax with good potentials is what I would look for in this podcast
