Resilience & Perseverance
This podcast pays homage to our ancestors and those who still remember a time where blacks and other people of color had to be intentional and thoughtful about their travels. The experiences shared may leave some listeners sad and angry, but for me I have a deeper sense of community, strength, resilience, and perseverance. I am proud to be black.

The information added to what I had heard about the Green Book. It was really special to hear the accounts of people who actually used the book or remembered traveling with their parents using it. Great history lesson with laughter and tears.
