Important oral histories
One episode in, and I’m hooked. This series, so far, strikes me as an excellent companion to The Warmth of Other Suns. Highly recommended for ANYONE who appreciates oral history, and storytelling.

I knew that the Green Book existed but that was about the extent of my knowledge. This podcast opened my eyes to the shameful way Blacks were (and are) treated in America. Most of all, though, I was heartened by the stories of resilience and success in the face of oppression.
