“I had my doubts on the first episode where the introductions “hi David! How are you?” reminded me of audiotapes to teach Chinese people English haha but it vastly improved!
Hosts got more natural and their passion and interest in China shines through. Such great reporting where the hosts are compassionate about the people being affected and try to explain what China is going through and why at the moment, rather than very scare-mongery or extremely dramatised (in delivery) reporting which tends to happen from reporters outside of China.
One of my fave podcasts atm!”
