I am curious to understand what the common Chinese Han thinks of their Uyghur and Tibetan compatriots. In my time in Beijing I was intrigued to find that there was zero support for the Uyghur issue from the local Hans. I saw the same disdain and under currents of paranoia among the Han residents in Kasghar and Urumqi when I visited Xinjiang. Would love to hear your take.”
