“Such fun guys xxxx I wish I was in your detective team.
I am also putting forward a listener crime... two years ago, I had a leavers do that for me that 3 people & I attended.
I had not been out in a decade, between no child care no money etc.
Did my best to look ok in my primany “leather coat”, I had an extra coat for under the primany one but it had no pockets, I was rocking my everything 5 pounds dress and Asda George boots. I drank in the first bar it was loud drank 1 drink... couldn’t hear anyone..second bar we went to packed so tight could move bar tender ignored me, plane Jane passed over no drink as no service, went through the back a guy in early thirties dances with my colleagues who are +++ wasted and very confident at nights out. I get dragged up for dance leave my primany leather coat, when I get back it’s gone.
Bar 3 was to be a cocktail bar I had looked forward to it for weeks. But no jacket =no money. And my cards and my work badge was in it.
We started walking out the bar I saw the 30 ish year old man with a girl who was like a size 6 in a large looking leather jacket. I went over to her (I’m not confrontational at all) I say excuse me I’m I could not help but notice that you might have on the wrong jacket, I have lost mine and all my stuff is in there.
The young woman was like no no it’s not your jacket it’s mine and I’m was slightly mean about it, the 30 year old man said the girl was his friend and could confirm she was wearing it all night.
My evening was over I said bye to my colleagues and phoned my dad, I had kept my mobile in my bra as it was too big for the leather jackets pockets. My dad picked me up outside the cocktail bar and told me I should know better than to take all my cards and money out on a night out. My dad is a lovely woman and is quite used to going out I am not. She took me to both the bars I had been in and I asked the bar staff if it had been handed in. They said no and I should check in the morning.
My dad took me back to her house first so I could stop crying and have a cup of tea before I went home to the kids. Then....
I get an incoming video call from the 30 year old man..... I don’t answer at first because I’m like who what and why is this person calling
Then he messages saying he has found my coat and purse.
Could I come and meet him. My dad says eh no you won’t, not alone so I arrange to meet the guy .. my dad and her partner give me a lift and assess the situation first.... they guy gives me back my coat and my purse, says he found the jacket outside the cocktail bar on the ground, mentions something about his friend not knowing it was someone else’s, then says to my dad hello and what a fine person she and her partner have raised. Shakes hands says bye and leaves.
All my bank cards money and work access I’d & key we’re all there.
Did the girl know she had my coat?
Did the 30 year old set this up to get laid?
Did they want to steal it realise how poor I was and the jacket was primany and take pity on me?
Should I have gone to the cocktail bar not have called my dad to save me and let my colleagues buy my cocktails till the 30 year old showed up as my knight in shining armour...?
I mean the 30 year old guy was hot ish did I jump the gun panic and miss out on my first one night stand?
Or is he really a psychopath setting it up to murder me ?
Please solve my self resolved crime mystery,
And continue to be awesome drunk detectives xxx”
