David Seymour's Side of the Story & NZ Blood needs our Help! - 18th November 2024
Description
Today on the show...
The man in the middle of the biggest news story in town - Act Leader and soon to be Deputy Prime Minister David Seymour. Amongst Māori he’s become 'persona non grata' and his Treaty Principles bill has seen the Māori Party mobilise thousands of people to march onto Parliament grounds tomorrow. What I like about Seymour is his belief in what he is doing is right and he has even said he’d be happy to meet the leaders of the Hīkoi, who have thrown it back in his face with a series of insults, saying 'what does he know?' Tonight we talk about all this with David. And NZ Blood need your donations! Currently there are around 17,500 plasma donors keeping the country afloat and we need more. NZ Blood's Service Transfusion Medicine Specialist Dr. Richard Charlewood joins us to let us know what they need and how us everyday Kiwis can help!
