One of my Favorites - Weinstein is psycho
A cohesive and very appropriate response to the absurd situation we all find ourselves in. Playful. Psychedelic. Spiritual, but clear-eyed about reality. Fearlessly explorative. Sometimes challenging but somehow never anger-inducing. Ultimately gentle and open-hearted. I love the acknowledgement of the magic in the universe combined with the focus on the base reality of experience. The podcast equivalent of Lodge 49. Eric Weinstein is a deeply creepy wannabe cult leader. And yes, as Duncan suggests, a bully. If you listen closely, his solution to the existential problem he believes we are confronting is “ME”. Like Scott Adams, he cynically employs linguistic manipulation techniques. A stupid, silly game for those in the know. Dangerous for others.

The Lavender Hour is terrific. I liked it at first and now it's grown on me so much. Just check out the website for the episode synopses and see if you can resist. It's full of philosophy, storytelling, hilarity, and bits of surprising audio. A+Read full review »

Funny approach to interesting topics. Duncan is enjoyable and insightful. Please beware Natasha has spells of hysterical laughter. It wouldn't be so bad but her screech is SO much louder than the normal talking.Read full review »
