“Simply phenomenal!!! I am a 31 year old guy who has a lot of nostalgia attached to wizards of the coast/white wolf pen and paper games. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to participate in a campaign/chronicle for about a decade due to lack of players/time (hopefully that changes soon); basically, I have been reduced to repeatedly flipping through my books and reminiscing about “the good ole days”. Desperate for anything to scratch that itch, I eventually found DnR podcast.
I’ll say this, the progress Jason has made as a DM is absolutely remarkable. When I started listening Jason was kind of an all-around boring DM (really sorry Jason). He was fairly un-descriptive un-original and un-imaginative.
Over time Jason has evolved into hands down the best DM I have ever had the privilege of sitting down with. His story telling is genuinely engaging. There is a remarkable amount of thought in his campaigns and he clearly puts in time outside of the sessions. HIs improvisational skills are great as well ( I haven’t noticed any, “oh crap what am I going to do now” moments). Just want to say thank you Jason, you rock man. I feel like I am vicariously playing through you guys and its wonderful. I have been refreshing iTunes like crazy just waiting for the next episode to drop.”
