“Durenda, thank you so much for stepping out and sharing your motherhood and homeschooling wisdom with us. So far I am only a mom of a little 2.5 year old boy. We decided to homeschool awhile ago (which shocked and excited me all in one) God radically changed my view and heart on being a stay at home mom and soon to be a homeschooling mom. As a first generation homeschooler mom it can be very overwhelming, and we haven’t even started! Your podcast has been a godsend by teaching me that it’s okay that I don’t have some huge plan and that we don’t need to mirror what fancy preschool programs are doing. I have felt so encouraged and convicted about when you talk regarding our mom instincts and I believe God les me to your resources now to prepare me to not care what people will think about our decision to homeschool. Strip me of people pleasing or the urge to poll everyone on their opinion of how to raise my child. Thank you thank you for being real, honest and biblically based. I have known in my heart that I desire to homeschool and that the desire is from God. Listening to your podcast has filled my arsenal with more understanding on why my heart is wanting this and making it easier to articulate my “whys”. Blessings! Thank you so much!”
