“I am in my first year of homeschooling my 4&3 years olds. I also finished reading Durenda’s book about a month ago...I LOVED it!! It was recommended by the curriculum I’m using by the Homegrown Preschooler, “A year of playing skillfully”. It was definitely what I needed as a new homeschooling mother. I am so excited to have found that she has a podcast now! I didn’t realize it until today and I’m starting from the beginning because I’m so excited to gain insight and encouragement from her! Listening to Godly podcasts is my new favorite thing to do during nap time or while cleaning the kitchen (makes me look forward to cleaning up 🤣). Thank you Durenda, for listening to the Lord (and your husband 😉) and writing the book. My tendency is to focus on getting things done and checking off lists. Through the wisdom you shared as a Godly wife and mother, the Lord is showing me how to slow down, rest, trust and enjoy. I’m so grateful that He has used you to encourage other mothers.
