Kaffeeklatsching with DIY creatives
The great thing about conversations with fine artists is how many other things they’re interested in outside of art and how that informs and leads to the gestation and manifestation in their work. Host Ricky McEachern selects folks to interview who are mostly like himself: DIY creatives with a limited arts education. To compensate for a lack of serious content pertaining to fine art and related subjects, McEachern and his guests seem more at ease (and/or only capable of) discussing psychological head space and polite conversation. The cozy vibe of these podcasts are only symptomatic of shapeless chats or perhaps just strategy to compensate for a lack of interesting content. Because I recognize some listeners may feel inspired by what they hear in these podcasts from like-minded creatives, that is something of real value that e2K podcast offers.

Love hearing different perspectives. Rick does a great job at making each episode seem more of a story rather than an interview.
