Today we're going to take a trip over to Italy and explore the music of 16th century Ferrara, which is one of the musical hotspots of the renaissance. Our guest, Laurie Stras, noted and renown musicologist will give us some background on some specific female composers that she's done groundbreaking research on. Some pretty incredible stuff.
