Don’t expect any aliens!
This show says it’s about a women who is alone after aliens have taken over the Earth. And I guess from the most technical definition, that’s correct. But the show is really about a pregnant woman who is alone. The main character is obnoxiously whinny and annoying. The attempts at humor mostly fall flat. The only time aliens come into play, is towards the end of episodes as a cliffhanger. The next episode will briefly mention the cliffhanger before returning to the whine fest. I made it 5 episodes in, but this show is doing best when it’s boring, rather than annoying.

There are some definite mysteries to start out, and the presentation is very different from many other apocalypse stories I’ve seen. So far it’s the mundane part of living in a ruined world, and that’s something I feel we...Read full review »
