Gracelin is a consultant economist for the World Bank. She is a US-national with experience living and working in Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe and North America. Gracelin is also a Senior Research Fellow at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Cape Town, where she undertakes research on balancing social spending with fiscal sustainability. Gracelin has published widely and was a Fulbright Fellow and holds an MPhil and PhD in Development Economics from the University of Cambridge.
