We need to do better as practicing Muslims

Description
Assalamu Alaikum I’ve said a lot on today’s reminder, but the most important thing is to pick atleast one thing from what I said. Insha Allāh Fluctuation of our Iman is also a test upon us itself, because it requires a great deal of patience, a never ending battle against our nafs. Losing your Iman is one thing but never your ‘fard’ and ‘faith’. Never think that someone else is better than you, we’re all equal in faith. You just need to do better as a pracing muslim for yourself benefit and not for anyone. We let romance and nikkah to get through our heads too much, to the point where we forget to put ourselves first and prioritize our deen. Marriage or love is not all about seeing cute couples on the internet and you think it’s all about that, it’s more than what you think. If you claim you want a righteous husband then, do you also pray to be a righteous wife(vise versa) Indulging in something Allah has made haram will never have no barakah at the end. Which is pretty mush a waste of time! Just because others are doing it doesn’t mean you should. giving up something for the sake of his glory, he will reward you with something better. (Go listen to “romance is like rizq”Zeezah did in one of her minute reminders) How bright is your flame burning? How do you control your feelings and emotions? Where’s your fear of Allahswt? Do you worry before sinning? Before backbiting your Muslim brothers and sisters? A short reminder on the story of prophet Ayyub(AS) He was a man who lost pretty much everything, his health, wealth, children… but he never lost his faith in Allah(SWT) Subhannallah, doesn’t it make you think, the moment we’re being tested, we forget all the times Allah had blessed us for, from nothing to something. We forget to show gratitude towards our creator. Never look at the people above, you but look at the people below you. Be grateful to Allah that you’re healthy and stable. Remember to always Show gratitude at all times •Learn to acknowledge your emotions •Accept and Appreciate the achievements of others •Continue to gain more knowledge •Show respect towards others(both young and old) And lastly, Use the little time you have wisely to fix your relationship with Allah and prioritize your deen. Youths are dying Families and friends are dying No one is promised the next hour.
