Concise and informative
These episodes are concise, accessible and informative, making for a great podcast. Just listened to the Belt and Road episode - refreshingly objective given the hysteria about China. The rise of China poses an existential threat to democracy, but that makes it more important to analyse it. Hysterical debt-trap myths may even benefit China by diverting attention from what it is actually doing, as set out here. (Episode on internationisation of Chinese currency next?). (See also the China and the Global South podcast, researched by neither Westerners nor Chinese for rigorous analysis on this from developing World perspective).
