“Didn’t cover all the great industry in the country. Made out Ireland was almost a pariah state. Not sure if this is just old school racism or he was jilted by Irish person at some point. The difference between GDP and GNI* is well noted and documented by the Irish statistics offices, it’s not some big secret. We’re a small open country that has only gained independence a little over a 100 years ago. Your coverage of the famine was beyond ignorant. Your own country gained most of its wealth by the disgraceful treatment of your indigenous people, most of Irelands European neighbours were colonial. Powers in the past but a discount corporation tax rate that bring 10,000’s of well paid jobs into our country is somehow an immoral strategy. Give me a break.”
