Story can be applied as a metaphor for our current racial climate in the States but if applied literally it brings up valid issues as well.
If an Android has true AI, does it have rights? Same rights as humans? If no, why not? We have consciousness and so do they. If yes, are there any differences? If an AI commits a crime is it ethical to rewrite some code to change its behavior without its permission? Will Android/human marriage be legalized? The list of ethical conundrums goes on and I don’t think these issues are too far from our reality.
Interesting show, some parts Bladerunner some parts Cyberpunk. Overall 9/10 recommend.”
