“Why did it take me so long to discover this podcast? - So great, that there are finds like this out there. A hidden gem. I am really wondering why this podcast hasn’t got more reviews as it certainly is something not to be missed by any lover of classical music.
This podcast is perfect for everyone who would like to go deeper into Mahler’s scores. It is one thing to listen, another thing to read about the composer’s life and thoughts - but being given an in-depth analysis of the music itself with all the necessary expertise and backstories, is beyond words. Every minute shows how much effort is being put into the realisation of this project. Eagerly looking forward to the future seasons, glad that Mahler made it to No 10, so there is a lot to be learnt. What a joy! What a gift!
