As kids are heading back to virtual school this week in Mexico and many have already started classes around the world whether it's virtual or face-to-face in some parts, I wanted to interview one of my best friends who is a teacher in this unprecedented time. Jacqueline Endres is going into her 15th year of teaching and is currently in a pre-first classroom, which as she explains in the podcast, is an additional year between kindergarten and first grade for students at our bilingual school to give them some extra time to really learn both languages at a young age. Jacque shares why she loves teaching in Mexico and though left once to get her Master's and teach for a while in Phoenix, moved back to Guadalajara. Jacque is not only a passionate and brilliant educator, she's a mom to two boys, so she shares with us some of the struggle being a working mom, teaching her classes online while also trying to help her boys get online for theirs.
