A new report by a nonprofit consumer watchdog shows that YouTube has been placing ads by some major brands next to controversial videos. The ads by companies including Verizon and Mastercard have shown up on videos promoting conspiracy theories and Project 2025, which is a guideline of policies conservatives would like to implement if former President Trump wins the election.
