Murder Under Trust
I really admire William and Anita - their work on the East India Company was excellent - but on the subject of Scotland and things Scottish they can hardly keep in their disdain. But William is a Scot will be the cry no doubt, but a public school education I. England will do more to shape one’s worldview than an accident of birth. Quoting Rory Stewart on Murder Under Trust at Glencoe not being a massacre as much as a car crash was one of many tin-eared moments. The guest contributors saved the day - just - but this was not Anita or Willie’s finest hour.

This podcast series is fast becoming one of my favourites. I have come away from each episode with new knowledge and a thirst for more. Brilliant story telling of complex history.
