Such a great balance!
I love this podcast. It always strikes the balance between irreverence and significance in a way that differentiates it from a lot of other shows. I’ve felt like the end of the partnership with Reddit has opened up some new avenues to find and explore stories. While I was disappointed in that shift in format and focus when it happened, it’s a testament to the talents at the show that they’ve kept a consistent quality of storytelling without feeling unfaithful to the show’s original ethos. Also, a gift for the hosts: 🪕

I was looking for a podcast with the intention of having it in the background while I got some work done. I forgot that I was actually supposed to work because of how intriguing and captivating I found these stories. Can’t wait until the next episode!

When they went on their adventure hunt and were reading the letter together I wanted to throw my phone at the wall. They are like those kids in your high school class who think they are cool and edgy because they have all their own lame inside jokes. Too hokey.

It's neat to see what corner of Reddit will be discovered each episode.Read full review »
