“The sound effects on this podcast are rich, but the rest of it seems to consist of achingly slow, stilted dialogue that isn’t much more than a string of redundant superlatives upon which the sound effects are hung. After 3 episodes, all I’ve gleaned is that the main character is with awed, astonished, overwhelmed etc etc with Earth’s beauty and how much his “consort” longs for him despite being promised to his brother. (Bechdel test foreshadowing?)
Neither of the characters have any depth or personality, and I’m bored stiff.”
