Escape Pod Rocks
Steve Eley is like a friend to me. I have never met him in person. Never contacted him via email or phone. Never seen him out in my town (we both live in Atlanta). But after listening to the last 50 episodes of Escape Pod, I feel like I know him. How? Its simple, his podcast is an extension of himself and I like his podcast. If you like reading scifi, give Escape Pod a shot. You get lots of different people reading cool stories (Even Steve himself) and you get lots of different people reading really bad stories (Every now and then). Overall though, I listen to each of them, then go online to read what everyone else is saying about them. It is a great way to pass 30-60 minutes, expand your mind and even get a chuckle or a shiver once in a while.
