Great commentary, but a few things are broken.
December 2015 Review: I’m really sad that this podcast has such good hosts and analysis, but whomever edits this podcast needs to be thrown from a window. My thoughts from May haven’t changed, the cons have gotten worse. The commercials are still extremely loud. I have a new complaint to add: I’m finding that segments are being cut off or when Dan talks about topics for the show, some of them aren’t even mentioned in the episode. Here’s a perfect example - “Over-Shadowplay? 12/7/15” is a 57-minute episode. I was genuinely surprised since 90% of the episodes are 27 minutes. It turns out that are the end of the episode, the previous podcast episode starts in this episode! The horrid editing and the extremely loud commercials downgraded my review of this podcast from 3/5 to 2/5. Again, it’s not the fault of the hosts, it’s the editors who release the final product. May 1, 2015 Review: I gave this 3/5 for the two major bad points below: The good: I like the pundits and the host; the discussion of the different leagues are spot on for the 30 minutes time limit they have. I’d like to hear more MLS discussion since ESPN is based in North America, but since they are trying to cover the global game, I understand. The bad: 1) They often play or make references to videos being played during the TV broadcast; this confuses me as a listener since I can’t ‘see’ what they mean. Unless they start making this into a video podcast of the show, it’s a point of contention for me. 2) The commercials during and after the show are mixed VERY POORLY. The volume of the commercials spike to the point to where my ears hurt when listening via headphones/earbuds. It’s almost gotten to the point to where I don’t want to subscribe anymore.

The show is brilliant. The personalities are on point, the banter is great but the only negative to draw from this is that when ads come on, they are very much louder than the show and it hurts when listening with earbuds. The editing crew need to lower that

I used to love ESPN Press Pass and early on I was a fan of ESPNFC, but the quality of the insight of regular pundits (with the exception of Gab, Sid, Santi, and Frank) is very poor. In addition the poor mixing and inclusion of commercials make this podcast almost unlistenable.
