Women’s only homestay in Cambodia (the Banteay Srey Project)
Listen now
Description
The first part in a series about the life changing cultural experiences I had while traveling in Cambodia. The Banteay Srey project is an incredible grassroots social enterprise for women in Kampot, Cambodia to become empowered in their cultural traditions and heritage while learning job skills so they can independently support themselves and their families. I was so fortunate to get to stay the actual women's only homestay and learn from the women there; I learned so much about life in Cambodia and women's rights, as well as traditional beauty, spa, and medicinal techniques.
