“It’s amazing they do this daily content, they are thoughtful and definitely getting into the thick of daily news. The banter and humor is nice, given how much of a bummer news is.
The cadence can be kind of jarring, and there’s a lot of sputtering. They do this weird affected “newsman” SNL voice, which can be rough. It has a theatre kid vibe, but without the confidence or fidelity, which can be a bit hard to listen to.
Look, it’s a solid daily progressive podcast that’s rough around the edges. it’ll converge on something great.”
