“I started listening recently because I was interested in the six wives of Henry the eighth and then I listened to the other episodes and I’m in love with this podcast they make the content so much more interesting than if I were to learn it in a book or classroom.🩷
I’ve read some of the other reviews and a good handful of people are saying that they just bash men but if you look at history from a female royals point of view you’ll see that they were simply getting royally screwed. History is written by the winners so it’s hard to get both sides of the story. I ask this do you really think Marie Antoinette had any say over what her husband did he was the king, he was in charge, he was responsible and because he chose to do little to nothing about what was happening both of them were beheaded none of that was her fault and this is just one example so therefore they aren’t just going against men they are against the hierarchy that men were a part of that were treating these women poorly and unfairly.”
