Lauren Spierer episode
I have enjoyed many of the episodes but after listening to the one on Lauren Spierer, which is full of distracting careless errors, I now wonder about how factual are other episodes. For starters, the name of the city that houses Indiana University is Bloomington, not Bloomingdale, and “Spierer” is pronounced like “spearer,” not “spear-I-er.” The friend whom Lauren was out with that fateful night is Corey Rossman, not Roseman. Lauren is also not the Spierers’ only daughter. She has a sister Rebecca. I won’t go on, but having lived through this case (at the time I was a professor at the university and participated in some of the searches), I can say that it shook the community. The Spierers actually moved to Bloomington for a time in pursuit of resolution. There are a number of other details in the podcast episode that aren’t quite right, and some important ones that are noticeable absent, though perhaps for the casual listener maybe none of this matters. I really don’t mean to be picky, but the story is far more complex and strange than what is reported here. I hope my feedback will spur you on to really doublecheck details in future podcasts and be more attentive to the facts. Thank you.

I really enjoy the stories, but I find the mispronunciations a little distracting. Keep up the good work.

Absolutely one of my favorite podcasts. Not a bunch of small talk . His voice❤️. Stories are to the point. Other podcasts could take tips from this one. Keep doing what you’re doing.
