What about the victim’s lives?
This may be an unpopular opinion, but I don’t want to hear about the troubled pasts of perpetrators to try and make me see them as more human or somehow identify with them. I’m not interested in dwelling on how the perp’s unfortunate childhood made him a victim and made him feel justified in committing a crime. Plenty of people have terrible upbringings and don’t turn into monsters who inflict heinous damage on innocents. I’m not that kind of true crime listener. I have a degree in criminology from one of the best programs in my country. At times understanding a perp’s traumatic past is critical in understanding them as people, like in the case of Aileen Wuornos, but the vast majority of the time it’s pretty inconsequential. I’m more interested in hearing about the victim’s lives and the turn of events that led to the incident.

Great delivery. Best voice I’ve listened to on a podcast. Presents facts in a respectful way in a reasonable amount of time. No jibber jabber with a sidekick cohost. Keep on bringing it to us.

I really like the content & length of episodes. It’s perfect for my morning commute. However, I’m not crazy about the flat narration style. Narrator sounds bored to death. I like inflection & accent in a storyteller.. also some words are mispronounced as most grammar buffs would point out…
