“I was really excited for this podcast because I’m a big fan of Shameless, but this podcast isn’t it. Annabelle is an amazing host; funny, engaging, empathetic, witty but I found the content slightly disturbing. I feel that the secrets are actually serious issues???(teenagers involved with 40 yr old married men, teachers grooming students, finding out you’re adopted) really wanted to hear some expert opinions on topics such as these but the commentary by guest hosts (who are 20 something tik tokers) on these topics is judgy, shallow and often victim blaming - I wasn’t entertained I was disturbed.”
