“Listened to the last five episodes end to end in order to provide an objective review of the podcast alone. I tune in to many podcasts weekly and always look for information to expand my world view, thoughtful discussion and humor. This podcast offers very little in this vein. In terms of content, well Tom and co host/guest frequently review snippets of VPR without exploration or any depth. He discusses his band and his important fashion choices. Tom gave us some input on the important issue of flare pants a red and white pair. WHAT does this get the audience? It is clear Tom dislikes Katie and he makes several negative mentions of her. Again, why? Discussing the water party, Tom informs us he likes artisan water….and? This leads to another jab at Katie as Tom didn’t like her outfit. WHY is this a podcast focus, does it provide any substance?? After several episodes this host displays absolutely no growth, insight and attempts are humor are often juvenile. The bro code seems to drive this pod and its mission. Finally, Tom, just a note on simple presentation; like it might be helpful like if you do not inject the word “LIKE” into every other sentence spoken. Like, it is distracting and like an audience member cannot like easily follow your thoughts cause like it just drags down any attempt at conversation. IF you wish to sound thoughtful or like educated, you may want to like review your excessive like use of the word LIKE.”
