“Ears are bleeding from the host’s Beavis voice, brain is bleeding because he speaks like a kid appropriating “witty” comebacks from late 90s teen movies. You know—that eye-rollingly unfunny kid in school that repeated his joke a thousand times until somebody’s forced laugh finally saves us all from the crushing secondhand embarrassment. That kid was exhausting to be around—much like this podcast. Everything he says sounds very rehearsed or like his therapist/PR/agent wrote it down for him on cue cards. His guests seem like hired “friends.” A very desperate production.”
