Description
In this special episode, we speak with the 12-year-old host of another climate podcast - called ‘We the Children’. Our guest, Zach Fox-Devol, discusses his podcast for kids who, like him, are interested in the climate crisis. We learn what inspires him, and get to hear an excerpt of his podcast episode on our oceans and the plastic polluting it. He - and his podcast guest - also suggest how kids can get involved. Guest and Title: Zachary Fox-Devol, Host of the ‘We the Children’ Podcast Great Guest Quote: “We want to help kids feel empowered, feel confident to make a difference. I feel like a lot of the time climate change feels like this huge problem that a lot of adults can't solve. And I know as a kid it can feel really overwhelming.” Keywords: #climateeducation,#eco-anxiety,#climateanxiety,#childhoodmentalhealth,#climatecrisis,#climateaction,#climatediscussions,#climatejustice,#climatepodcast#oceanhealth,#plasticcrisis                         Teen Co-Hosts: Isabella Genereaux and Hasini Parepalli Transcript: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Zn8-uLwStWB4t2mMgifp-v4FuG8kE50nd4pv7aln-fI/edit?usp=sharing This episode’s recap blog post: coming soon Did you know?
